One day workshop on ‘Emerging Contaminants in the Environment: Source to treatment’ was successfully held on 03rd of October 2018 at the Wilasurendara auditorium, IESL, Colombo 07 with 48 participants. It was organized by Young Scientists Forum of NASTEC with the collaboration of Water Forum of the Institute of Engineers Sri Lanka (IESL) and Ecosphere Resilience Research Center, University of Sri Jayewardenepura.
The Centre for International Co-operation in Science (CICS), invites applications from researchers holding permanent positions in their Countries (Afghanistan, Bangladesh, Bhutan, Maldives, Myanmar, Nepal and Sri Lanka) and who are actively involved in research activities tovisit India under the India Science and Research Fellowship (ISRF) Programme to pursue research in frontier/ advanced areas of science including Medicine and Agriculture for a period of 3 – 6 months. The Fellowship is supported by the Department of Science & Technology, Government of India.
